Full Stack Web Developer x 2
Job Description
We are a small but growing company that develops business management software & websites specifically for antique and art dealers. It’s a unique and fascinating industry and the job is varied. We and need a top-notch full stack developer to join our team who can hit the ground running. Our current full stack developer will bring you up to speed.

You will be innovative and love developing state-of-the-art solutions. You will work alongside our current full stack developer and our front-end developers in our Watford office reporting directly to the company owner. You will be given development goals and some direction but you will have the knowledge, the competency and the drive to design something amazing, reporting progress as required. You will regularly surprise us with your skills and innovation and show that you have often exceeded the goals set.

Work is based on-site in our Watford offices with some flexibility for occasional home working should it be required. Please do not apply if you cannot work from our office.
Requirements / Essential
  • At least three years of direct experience in a commercial web development environment
  • Profound knowledge of PHP5/PHP7: Libraries used: AWS, Braintree, SagePay, MailChimp. MailJet, Google etc.
  • A solid understanding of OOP
  • Strong knowledge of: MySQL, Web Services, REST & JSON
Also Required
  • At least one year of experience with AWS infrastructure, familiar with the following products: AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Elastic Load Balancing, Simple Storage Service (S3), RDS, Route 53 and Simple Email Service (SES)
  • Good working knowledge of Git, SCM best practices, HTML, CSS & JavaScript: Libraries used: Bootstrap, jQuery cycle, fullsizable, validate, cookie, creditcardvalidator etc.
Bonus Points
  • If you know: NoSQL, DynamoDB, MariaDB
  • If you have graphical design skills
  • If you are familiar with Python, Go, Java and other open source technologies
  • Technologies relating to security

Job Description

We and need a top-notch sales & marketing manager to join our team to help grow the business further and faster. The role is 100% new sales focussed.

You will be dynamic, innovative, impressive, charming and great at networking. This marketing & field sales role will involve travelling to antique and art exhibitions as well as popular antique villages around the UK, e.g. Petworth, Newark, London, Tetbury and many more. Reporting directly to the company owner in our Watford office, you will drive the business growth, finding new prospects, new markets, demonstrating our software and services, closing sales and formulating new deals with industry partners to further enhance business growth.
Requirements / Essential
  • At least three years of B2B marketing experience
  • At least three years of B2B software sales experience with an excellent track record both creating & closing sales
  • You excel at identifying new prospects as well as taping into new markets and can show significant business growth as a direct result of your work
  • Fully computer literate
  • Entrepreneurial drive
  • Full clean driving licence

Front End Web Designer & Developer
Job Description
A great opportunity to join a small but thriving local business offering a varied set of products and services that need your skills! Whether you’re an enthusiastic self-taught designer or a talented graduate, we’re interested in what you can do and how well you can do it more than specific qualifications. We do however require that you have at least two years of commercial experience.

We develop web services, websites and business management systems for the art & antiques market - so a really good eye for design is absolutely essential. We also develop a selection of web services for other markets. This job will involve you in lots of different projects, perfect for someone who thrives on variety and can introduce their own creative and innovative concepts to a project.

You will be a mid-level to high-level developer with a good or excellent level of the required skills as well as a really good eye for design and attention to detail. It is essential that you have experience developing fully responsive websites. You will work with our current full-stack developer with some opportunity during work hours to research new libraries, plug-ins and technologies to enhance your skills and our products. Positive and creative input to help improve the product design is welcome.

You will be well organised, methodical, responsible, be a good communicator and work well in a small team. You will have a good sense of commercial awareness as regards deliverables to customers.
